Designed around current Indian counter behaviour: QR codes are widely used by small merchants because they are low-cost and quick to deploy. Read PwC’s Indian Payments Handbook.

The opportunity

Give a good experience a reason to repeat.

Salon clients rarely leave because of one bad haircut. They drift away when a new place opens nearby with an introductory offer. A stamp card that is three visits away from a free hair spa gives them a reason to stay, and a reason to come back on schedule.

It also works as a gentle way to introduce new services. A client who only comes for a haircut may try a facial or head massage when it is their reward, and some will start paying for it afterwards.

A practical loyalty principle: reward a behaviour you can see and want more of—another visit, another session, another completed order—not a vague promise.

Common questions

Before you print the QR

Clear answers before you launch your salons & parlours loyalty card.

Still have a question? Talk to us
01 How do I stop clients collecting two stamps in one day?

Set a cooldown, for example 48 hours. A customer cannot collect a second stamp on the same card until that time has passed.

02 Can the stamp card be used across my two salon branches?

Yes. Each branch gets its own QR, the stamps go to the same card, and you can see which branch each visit came from.

03 What rewards work best for salons?

Services with a low cost to you and a high value to the client, such as a hair spa, threading or a head massage.
