These terms apply when you use the First QR website and app, whether you run a business on it or collect stamps as a customer. By signing in or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
First QR lets businesses such as cafés, salons, gyms and shops (“Businesses”) run digital loyalty programs: stamp cards, scratch card prizes and a digital menu, reached by scanning a QR code. Their customers (“Customers”) collect stamps and claim rewards from their phone browser, without installing an app.
Each Business decides its own rewards, rules and prizes and is the one who gives them. First QR provides the technology only and is not a party to the offer between a Business and its Customers.
2. Accounts and sign-in
Businesses and Customers sign in with a Google account. You must give accurate details and keep access to your Google account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
A Business account must be opened by the owner or someone authorised to act for the business.
3. Collecting stamps and rewards
A stamp is for a genuine visit or purchase, under the rules the Business has set. A program may allow only one stamp within a set number of hours.
Using several accounts, sharing or photographing QR codes to collect stamps without visiting, automated scanning, or any other way of gaming a program is not allowed. The Business may refuse or reverse such stamps and rewards, and we may suspend the accounts involved.
Rewards and scratch card prizes have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and may expire if the Business has set an expiry. A reward is claimed with a one-time code that works once and expires after a few minutes.
If a Business changes or ends its program, closes or leaves the platform, its stamps and rewards may no longer be available. Questions about a particular reward should go to that Business.
4. Responsibilities of Businesses
Describe offers clearly and honestly, honour rewards that Customers have fairly earned, and follow the consumer protection, advertising, tax and food safety laws that apply to your business.
You are responsible for the content you add, including your business name, logo, menu, prices, photos and prize descriptions, and you must have the right to use it.
Customer details you see in your dashboard may be used only to run your loyalty program with those Customers. Do not sell them, share them with others or use them for unrelated marketing. You are responsible for any further use of data you export.
Keep your QR codes in your own premises and rotate them from the dashboard if you think one has been misused.
5. Free trial, plans and payment
New Businesses get a free trial of 14 days. No payment details are needed for the trial.
Paid plans are priced per year in Indian rupees, with GST and other taxes added where they apply. The plan, price and period are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Cashfree Payments; we do not see or store your card or bank details.
Plans do not renew automatically. To keep using paid features after a period ends, pay for the next period from the Billing page. If a plan ends, your account, customers and their stamps stay safe for you to pick up again.
Prices can change for future periods. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, mislead or defraud people, send spam, upload harmful code, try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, overload or scrape the service, or copy it to build a competing product.
Do not upload content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, infringes someone else’s rights, or that you do not have permission to share.
7. Your content and our property
You keep ownership of the content you upload. You allow us to store, show and process it as needed to run the service for you, for as long as it stays on the service.
The First QR name, logo, website, app and software belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use them except to use the service as intended.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and secure, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features over time and will try to give notice of changes that matter to you.
9. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we do not promise that it will be error-free or that it will bring a particular number of customers or sales.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data, or for disputes between a Business and its Customers about rewards, prizes or offers.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to a Business for any claim is limited to the amount it paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Suspension and closing an account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile (Customers) or the Privacy page of your dashboard (Businesses). Deleting is permanent.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or is used for fraud. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell signed-in Businesses before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to settle any complaint through the grievance process below. If that does not resolve it, the courts at the place where our registered office is located will have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Contact and grievances
First QR runs this service. For questions, requests about your data, refunds or complaints, contact our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
